Phillips screws which are more prone to stripping.This truck comes with plastic bushings, wheel bearings are ~$15.Stock shock oil is very low weight (~30wt), but easy fix.People have been talking about this issue (not sure if its an issue for a basher) in other forums. ![]() Body decals are of low quality, peeling off already.The Radio that came with it has enough knobs for you to play with and is pretty decent for the price you pay for the truck.The gears are covered unlike my Kalahari which the gears are exposed to the environment.Not sure if that's preferred for the track but it's perfect for my homemade ramps and I'm comfortable launching it up high over pavement instead of grass. The truck stays perfectly flat in mid air and lands on 4 wheels. Will play with the stock motor for a while and I may put in a brushless system in the future. It is zippy enough, it handles turns very well and it is very controllable. I feel that the speed that the brushed motor provides is just perfect for this truck.Fairly high ground clearance for a 1/18.Electronics tested waterproof as advertised, my electronics were completely covered in snow last night and drove fine.Body and clips are very easy to put on (as compared to my Kalahari).I may also get the Torment body and wheels in the future to do a conversion. I bought a set of ball bearings, a set of hardware, and the Torment bumper set which I think should fit with the Ruckus body. It came with a NiMH 900mah, ok for its size but I have a 1200mah NiMH from my Vaterra Kalahari and an extra Turnigy LiPO 2S 1700mah that I use on my Kalahari.Ĭan someone please tell me what this round plastic dish thing is? I've seen this in people's pictures before I bought mine and I've been curious ever since. Awesome little truck for $99! I bought mine used for $75 shipped because I couldn't wait until they restock in early March. Received my 1/18 Ruckus last night and couldn't wait til the outside dries up so I drove it in snow/slush last night when it was 0 deg F out haha. ![]()
